Can you please tell me?that a bachelor of Pharmacy student can pursue doctor of medicine in australia .😊
I am a Physiotherapist too atm but I finish Medical School in May/June 2025. I am over the Moon. I love medicine so far ♡
Hi tess, one question, what GPA did you have to get accepted, and to what university? Thanks!
How much Physiotherapist earn in Australia?
Hi Tess! Found this video inspiring! You mentioned that you had a tutor who went through the Des questions with you...do you still have their details?
As a physio student trying to get transfer into medicine, this video has clearly distinguished both professions and has reinforced my motivation to both become a doctor as well as utilise my knowledge of physiotherapeutic treatment to maximise the level of care I deliver to my patients. Thank you so much Tess!!!
How hard is it compared to a level biology
Thank you! Super helpful! I have a rural placement for 5th year and rural internship lined up!
Thanks so much for stopping by and watching this video! I'm currently taking on a limited number of students for tutoring for section 1 & 2 for the March 2022 GAMSAT. If you're interested in working with me, feel free to visit www.thetessfiles.com/gamsattutoring and send me an enquiry ✨

Another physio going into medicine here, fingers crossed.
Nice video 🤗 Thanks for sharing this with us🤗
Run far and fast from physio. It is outdated, stale and gets old very fast. The attrition rate is extremely high, and average age significantly younger than medicine. EBP is a joke. The most over-hyped, far too expensive education in healthcare for graduates who are indebted, over-credentialed and under-skilled. My 2 cents.
She’s back!
Heeeey! Great to see you back on RUclips Tess Woooo!! Awesome video and loved the B roll.
Thanks Syl! I love that you love the B roll haha it was my first time trying it and I feel like it's a total vibe 😆 I hope you've been going well!
What are the entry requirements in Australia for Physiotherapy program?

Is physiotherapy well paid occupation in Australia??
Hi Tess ,I am from India I love your videos now I am studying bachelor of physiotherapy second year I have small doubt do physiotherapist have chance to deal surgery
Hi nice to c u ... I also switched my profession from pt to med. I m in first year of my med school nd i m 28 🙂
Interesting, thanks for sharing your story and advice and congrats on getting into medicine! But can you share your grades? Including your GPA? Which universities did you apply for and which universities made you offers? Which did you end up choosing?
IMO its not a sidestep its a natural progression.
This is a fantastic insight. I’m back at uni studying biomed with the intention of taking the GAMSTAT and hopefully doing med. although I am now 30, it still feels like I’m a big kid in pursuit of another challenge. age is just a number!
Hey, How important is knowing Theory/Background science for the GAMSAT? I keep getting the feeling from your video that everything you need is on the paper and it's all about logic/pattern recognition. Thanks
I'm watching this a few days out from my another attempt at GAMSAT and I feel inspired and kind of more calmer. I enjoyed listening to the different of perspectives from you guys. Tess, how did you find your tutor may I ask? I learn like you do!
Inspiring thanks.
Hey tess I saw this videos of yours. I’m also studying physio. But I kinda have doubts about the field and career. Is it worth studying. I happened to saw the video where you told that you are changing your career from physio to medicine. Actually I wanted to become a doctor too but due to some issues I couldn’t and got admission in physio. I’m literally kinda out of motivation and confused about becoming a PT. can you tell me about the jobs opportunities for physios?
Thanks for this video, what kind of things should i read/ watch to help me and how can i improve writing. Thank you
Also changing from physio to Dr! Great to see someone else who has been through the process!
Hi Tessa. Thank you very much for the video! I am considering to change my career from teaching to physio. I got accepted to a physio degree and I look forward to studying it. But being in my mid-30s, I am somewhat concerned about being a mature age student and entering the career later than others. In your experience, have you encountered cases like mine among your physio peers/colleagues? Many thanks
it's quite common to see at certain universities.
Can you recommend me a tutor?
